Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an indexing device compact by ensuring that the table indexing is effected by a single limit switch. CONSTITUTION:When indexing of a table 1 is conducted, plural pins 9 fitted on the shaft 8 of a rack 6 turn on and off a limit switch 10, and the on-off signals are subjected to sabtraction or addition by a counter 11. When the subtracted or added value is equal to a table indexing value stored in a memory unit 13, a subtraction or addition finish switch 12 feeds a signal to a cylinder 7 to stop it. In case where 5 deg. indexing, for example, of the table 1 is to be conducted, pins 9 are so fitted on the shaft 8 as to be corresponding to a seventy-second of the table 1 so that a 5 deg. table angle indexing is conducted each time when the limit switch 10 undergoes one on-off operation through the function of the pins 9.
