Abstract
PURPOSE:To simply generate a spatial moving target with a small equipment by assembling a conical horn antenna, an S-shaped circularly bent waveguide, a rotary and the like. CONSTITUTION:A conical horn antenna 10 is mounted through a rotary joint 14 and an S-shaped circularly bent waveguide 11 at a rectangular-to-circular waveguide converter 12 disposed on a mount 18. In this manner, the electromagnetic wave of TE mode 10 inputted from the rectangular waveguide end face of the converter 12 is applied to the rotary joint 14 and is converted into a TE mode 11, and is then applied to a circularly bent waveguide 11 without being affected by the rotation of the rotary joint 14 to be thus fed to the antenna 10 without loss due to reflection and to be then radiated into the space. On the other hand, a servo controlling circuit 17 rotates a motor 16 externally by a rotary command signal to allow the rotary joint 14 to rotate through a gear 13 and to accordingly permit the conical horn antenna 10 to rotatably move by drawing a circular arc around the rotary axis of the rotary joint 14 as a center so as to perform the prescribed purpose.
