Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate the rise in temperature and improve durability, by providing a resistor of high positive resistance-temperature coefficient in a metallic pipe and filling heat-resisting electrically-insulating powder between the pipe and the resistor to provide a heating section. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 2, which is made of a pure metal such as pure nickel having a high positive resistance-temperature coefficient, is provided in a metal pipe 1. Heat-resisting electrically-insulating powder 3 of magnesia or the like is densely filled in the space between the metal pipe 1 and the resistor 2. A heating section 4 is thus manufactured. Since the resistance of the resistor 2 increases as energization time elapses, the rise in the temperature of the tip of the heating section 4 is accelerated. Since the resistor 2 excels in high-temperature corrosion resistance, its durability is high.
