Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out the bending work to manufacture the extruded hollow shape of wide breadth without suffering from undesirable deformation, by placing the extruded shapes under the coupled condition, and by simultaneously applying the bending work to all shapes utilizing the slip at each fitting joint.
CONSTITUTION: The extruded hollow shape A, possessing L-type section and breadth l, is divided into six extruded shapes 2W7, in which the dovetail grooves 8W12 and the dovetail projections 13W17 are prepared in order to mutually undetachably couple by fitting each other. Then these extruded shapes 2W7 are mutually coupled by fitting each other. Each of extruded shapes 2, 3, 4, 5, respectively possesses the concentrically curved center lines Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, and each extruded shape coherently moves slipping at respective fitting joint; hereby, all the extruded shapes are simultaneously curved. Hereupon, the degree of elongation and shrinkage at inside and outside of the curved center lines Y1WY4 of each of extruded shapes 2W5 is very small as compared with the conventional degree, so that the deformation and distortion of each of extruded shapes 2W5 hardly generate, and the whole coupled body A of extruded shapes is provided with good appearance.
