Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic disk medium which excels in the wear resistance and the lubricity by applying the coating material of the second layer and then the baking before the magnetic coating of the first layer is dried and then giving the polishing finish up to nearly the middle between the first and the second layers.
CONSTITUTION: The ferromagnetic coating material is applied onto disk 2 by the spin coating method in order to form the first coating 1. Thus pinhole 3 is formed on coating 1.
