Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out the accurate measurement of the flow rate with no effect of current transformation, by receiving the ultrasonic wave through one side of a pair of ultrasonic transducers and then applying the converted electric signal to the transducer provided at the same side in order to secure the electric driving.
CONSTITUTION: After either transducer (TD) 11 or 14 received the ultrasonic pulse, the electric pulse signal obtained by converting the ultrasonic pulse is supplied in parallel to TD11, 14 in the form of the transmission signal after amplification through transmission/reception circuit 30. These signals are then converted again into the ultrasonic pulses to be propagated into fluid 2, and then received by TD12, 13 opposing to each other at the opposite side to be converted again into the electric pulse signals. These pulse signals are applied to current speed measuring circuit 25 of the TTL system. At circuit 25 the measurement is carried out for the current speed in terms of the electric pulse signal through the TD opposing to the TD which differs from either TD11 or 14 received the pulses among TD12, 13 which received in parallel the electric pulse signal from circuit 30 and also received simultaneously the pulses transmitted simultaneously from TD11, 14.
