Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent collapse of a sloped ground by a method wherein a grouting material is injected into steel pipes driven down to the supporting stratum of a sloped ground, thereby fixing the steel pipes to the stratum, and the steel pipes are interconnected by wire ropes, in a reinforcing method for a sloped ground.
CONSTITUTION: In a sloped ground are excavated holes piercing through the surface layer down to the supporting stratum, steel pipes are inserted or driven into the holes, and a grouting material is injected at high prssure into the steel pipes from their upper ends. The thus injected grouting material spouts from the lower ends of the steel pipes, and penetrates into the stratum to form bulbs, forming rigid supporting piles with the steel pipes as shafts. Then, the upper ends of the teel pipes of the supporting piles thus driven over the whole surface of the slope are interconnected by wire ropes 3, to construct a supporting pile group convering the slope.
