Abstract
PURPOSE: To suppress generation of alien sound dependent upon signal error, by inhibiting the sound analogue signal output when the number of signal errors detected by the cyclic code becomes a prescribed value or more for a prescribed time.
CONSTITUTION: In case of error in reproduced data, error detecting circuit 11 dependent upon cyclic code CRC outputs only one pulse during 1 H period and inputs this pulse to AND circuit 18 through retrigger monostable multivibrator I 17. Counter 19 stops counting and resets contents when the output of circuit 18 which appears at the reset input is O, and counter 19 counts the number of rise of output pulses of circuit 11 only when the output of circuit 18 is 1; and when contents reach a prescribed number, counter 19 outputs a downward pulse to the output, and thus, this operation is repeated. Retrigger monostable multivibrator II 20 starts counting from fall of the output pulse of counter 19; and when the output pulse is 0, output inhibiting circuit 21 causes the output of LPF14 to appear at the output terminal of the device; and when the output pulse above is 1, circuit 21 inhibits the output. As a result, generation of alien sound dependent upon signal error can be suppressed.
