Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the quick countermeasure to the fault of the tachometer generator circuit such as the disconnection and the like, by detecting that the armature voltage or the ratio between the armature voltage and the armature current is more than the fixed value and that no output voltage of the tachometer generator is produced.
CONSTITUTION: Detection circuit 8' delivers the output when the ratio between the armature voltage and the armature current of DC motor 1 is more than the fixed value. Fault detecting circuit 10 decides that the tachometer generator circuit is faulty when the output signal is sent from circuit 8' and also the zero output voltage of tachometer generator 2 is detected by detection circuit 9. The output of circuit 10 is supplied to emergency processing circuit 11.
