Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the simple decision for the normal mixing of fibers having different contraction, by spraying the heated gas to the mixed fiber in order to cause the contraction and isolation among the strands.
CONSTITUTION: The heated gas is sprayed to part of the mixed fiber having different contraction. Thus the strands contract according to the temperature of the heated gas. And in this case, the difference of length is caused between the strand having a large contraction rate and that having a small contraction rate, and accordingly the strand of a large rate is stretched along with the sag caused to the strand of a small rate each. This sag of the strand is blown away by the heated gas, and thus the isolation is given among the strands of different contraction rate. In this way, the simple decision is secured for the normal mixing of the fibers.
