Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a smoothing circuit functioning to rectify and smooth an input signal of a low level by coupling the amplification output of an input AC signal direct to a transistor in terms of direct current and then by leading an output out from a capacitor connected to its emitter. CONSTITUTION:Input signal V1 from input AC signal source 1 is supplied to the base of transistor 11 and its potential Vb1 has a value equal to the sum of AC signal V1 and a voltage developed by resistance R1 of resistance 14 and base current Ib1 while base potential Vb2 of transistor 12 becomes V1+R1Ib1+2vBE. As a result, a current of Vb2/R3 flows through resistance 16(R3) and base potential Vb4 of transistor 17 increases 1+R2/R3 times the input signal V1 is zero, emitter potential Ve4 of transistor 17 is shown by expression (2) and input signal as shown by expression (1). In case that input signal V1 amplified by a smoothing circuit composed of resistance 5 and capacitor 6 can obtain a smoothed potential by smoothing even when its level is low.
