Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and checking and improve the performance of pressure release at the time of accident occurrence, by providing a pressure release unit below the average oil level of a conservator and attaching a valve to a connection pipe between the conservator and a main body tank so that the valve is closed by the internal pressure of the tank. CONSTITUTION:An automatic shutoff valve 7 is provided in a halfway part of a connection pipe 6 between a conservator 3 and a tank 1. In a normal state, the valve 7 does not act becuase oil which flows from the tank 1 to the conservator 3 passes through the small hole 12a of a flapper 12. When a sharp pressure rise occurs in the tank, a toggle mechanism 14 is actuated by a large oil flow to turn the flapper 12 down clockwise. At that time, a pressure release unit 4 acts to eject oil to reduce the pressure in the tank 1. As a result, a valve element 9 falls to stop oil inflow from the conservator 3 to the tank 1 to prevent oil from being unnecessarily ejected from the pressure release unit 4. According to this constitution, maintenance and checking are easy, a pressure release pipe 6 can be shortened and the performance of pressure release at the time of oil ejection is improved.
