Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce capacity of power source, by making it possible to start an electric motor with a system power source, and then, separate the system power source from the motor so as to let the motor's revolution return to a variable frequency power source during natural deceleration of the motor, and start the power source by the motor's revolution. CONSTITUTION:After an AC motor 5 was started by system power source 1 and 2, the system power sources are separated from the motor. And then, revolution of the motor is detected by a detector 12, and a variable voltage variable frequency power source (VVVF) 4 is started through a switchover switch 13, an inclination signal generator 9, a pattern generator 10 and an oscillator 11. And when agreement between revolution of the motor 5 and frequency of the VVVF power source 4 is detected, the motor 5 and the VVVF power source 4 are connected to each other. And then, by switching the switchover switch 13, the motor is controlled by a prescribed speed command 8.
