Abstract

PURPOSE: A hairdressing, capable of improving the softness, touch and finish feeling of hair, and comprising a polyoxyalkylene compound and a small amount of a specific alcohol.
CONSTITUTION: A hairdressing comprising (A) a polyoxyalkylene compound, e.g. polyoxypropylene (40 moles) monobutyl ether, obtained by addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide with a mono- or polyhydric alcohol, and (B) a 12W22C branched chain alcohol, e.g. 2-hexyldecanol, 2-heptylundecanol, or 2-octyldodecanol, which is a liquid at normal tempertures, in an amount of 0.1W20wt% based on (A). Even a high-viscosity (A) for improving the hairdressing property will not degrade the softness of hair.
