Abstract

PURPOSE:To effect the smooth mixing operation and to prevent local solid accumulation in a preparation tank by projecting swirling gas flow from the middle of charging pipe toward the preparation tank. CONSTITUTION:Gas-flow projection pipes 28 are connected to a solid discharging pipe 8 at several places of its passage, so that swiriling gas flow is projected from the pipes 28 toward the preparation tank 1. The pipes 28 are connected to main pipe 27 through which gas flow 31 is sent from compressor, etc. Solid 29 is dropped through the pipe 8, is carried on swirling flow 30, and is charged into the tank 1. Thus, solid is prevented from dropping in block just below the pipe 8, instead, is borne by the swirling flow to be widely distributed, and charged on the liquid surface. This forms no accumlated layer of solid and results in rapid and uniform mixing.
