Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the undesired component of the stereo composite signal and then secure the effective detection of only the pulse noise, by providing the subcarrier generating circuit which supplies the output of the 1st gate circuit plus the 2nd gate circuit which gives the control to the output of the subcarrier generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The noise eliminating circuit consists of the 1st gate circuit 6 which is cut off according to generation of the pulsating noise plus the 1st holding capacitor 7 connected to the output end of circuit 6. Then the output of this circuit is supplied to generate the cancel signal having the same or opposite phase to the stereo composite signal contained in the stereo composite signal through subcarrier generating circuit 9 and cancel signal generating circuit 16. Then the cancel signal is applied to adder circuit 19 via the 2nd holding capacitor 18 as well as the 2nd gate circuit 17 which operates in synchronization with circuit 6. And the subtraction or addition is given between the stero pilot signal sent from circuit 6 and the cancel signal sent from circuit 17, thus ensuring the effective detection for only the pulse noise.
