Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise resistance to liquid leakage by the procedure in which a sealant of a low elasticity is covered on the circumference of a polar column and then a sealant of a high elasticity is covered on the covered surface and the surface between the polar column and a cover. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the polar column 1 is covered with the sealant 6 of a low elasticity, and the sealant 7 of a high elasticity is filled in between the sealant 6-covered surface and the polar column 1 surface and the cover 2. The sealant 6 of a low elasticity, having good adhesiveness to a metal, serves to suppress the action of electrolyte to creep the polar column 1, while the sealant 7 of a high elasticity, having good adhesiveness to a resin, serves to suppress the action of electrolyte to creep the surface of the cover 2. The said sealant 6 used includes those obtained from the reaction of a polyamide resin, etc., having a high amide value with a heterocyclic diamine, etc., as a hardener, and also the sealant 7 used includes those obtained from the reaction of a low molecular weight epoxy resin with diethylenetriamine, etc., preferably.
