Abstract
PURPOSE:To arrange an index stripe against a fluorescent stripe at the high precision by exposing the fluorescent and index stripes using the same exposure mask. CONSTITUTION:The three-color fluorescent stripes 2R, 2G, and 2B are formed using the exposure mask 10 and the metal back film 33 is formed. Then the fluorescent film 40 which forms stripes for detecting index signals is formed and is dried. Subsequently, the exposure mask 10 is shifted against the panel area 1d and is exposed to light through the transparent window 11. This forms the index stripe area 41. Similarly, the index stripe areas 42 and 43 are formed and the fluorescent film 40 which is not exposed to light is removed.
