CONSTITUTION:When traffic from exchange 1 to exchange 6 through control unit 3 and trunk line switching unit 5 is increased to reduce traffic to exchange 7, traffic control unit 12 changes the rate of lines between exchanges 1 and unit 5 on the basis of traffic information from unit 3. As a result, trunk lines can be increased without extension of channel-system units and terminals belonging to exchange 1.
