Abstract

PURPOSE:To form different materials simultaneously in a unitary body by a method wherein the inside of a mold is divided by a partition member and prefoamed particles are heated and fused in one part and before this thermal process is finished, the partition member is removed and different foaming particles are heated and fused in the other part. CONSTITUTION:Some prefoamed particles such as styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer and the like are packed to be heated and fused from a packed tank to one part 32 which is divided by a partition member 13 in the cavity 30 of a forming mold 10 and before they are heated and fused, the partition member is removed. Then, polystyrene different from the above-mentioned prefoamed particles or other prefoamed particles are packed to be heated and fused from another packed tank to the other part 31. Thus, different kinds of materials are fused and formed in a unitary body to each other.
