Abstract
PURPOSE: Title composition which provides plated films having excellent adhesion and durability, comprising an olefin resin, a polar group-containing saturated rubber, a specific metal compound, a sulfureous material, a vulcanization accelerator and conductive carbon black.
CONSTITUTION: To (A) 100pts.wt. of an olefin resin, MW 2×104-1×106, are added (B) 0.5W100pts.wt. of a polar group-containing saturated rubber (Mooney viscosity 20W140) which is free of C-C double bonds and whose backbone consists of C-C bonds only, such as a chlorinated polyethylene rubber or an acrylic rubber, (C) 0.5W50pts.wt. of at least one metal compound selected from the group consisting of a hydroxide, oxide, carbonate or sulfate of Be, Mg, Ca, Ba, Zn, Cd and Al, (D) 0.1W10pts.wt. of at least one sulfureous material selected from the group consisting of a sulfur-liberating compound which liberates sulfur at 100W180°C and a sulfureous vulcanizing agent, (E) 0.05W10pts.wt. of a thiazole or thiuram type vulcanization accelerator and (F) conductive carbon black in such an amount that the resulting composition has a volume resistivity of below 103Ωcm.
