Abstract

PURPOSE: To attenuate pulsation and also to smooth and secure operation of a valve by providing a limited passage midway on a gas passage covering from an outlet of gas pressure in a compression space to the valve.
CONSTITUTION: During operation of a rotor 1, a pressure on the side of plunger hole 21 through to a pressure passage 18 is higher than a pressure on a oil passage 23 through to an oil separating chamber with a plunger 22 of plug 30 as an abutment therefor. The differential pressure is generated normally by a pulsating pressure change arising in a compression space in accordance as the rotor 1 runs. However, the pulsating differential pressure is attenuated through a fine passage B formed with a spiral groove provided between a pressure space, pressure passage 18 and the plunger hole 21 according to how the plug 30 and a rear side wall 4 are screwed and is transmitted to the plunger hole 21. The plunger 22 thus moves smoothly upward, and a valve can be operated very smoothly.
