Abstract

PURPOSE: Filaments, immediately after spun, is rapidly cooled and collected near the spinneret to give directly melt spun and undrawn fibers satisfying a specific equation, which is then oriented and drawn, thus producing title fibers with reduced fluffs and denier uneveness.
