Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the position and attitude of the mobile body on the running surface simply and easily, by detecting the direction of three reference points on the running plane by taking the running direction of the running body as reference. CONSTITUTION:The measuring unit is constituted with the parabola antenna receiving the ultrasonic signal from the oscillator through rotary drive by means of pulse motor, drive section turning the motor, analog signal processing section processing ultrasonic wave signal, and digital signal processing section detecting the rotary angle of antenna when the ultrasonic wave signal takes a maximum. In the drive section, the pulse signal generator drives the pulse motor and counts the number of pulse signals as the signal proportional to the rotary angle. In the analog signal processing section, the filter rejects noise and the A/D converter digitize the signal for output. In the digital signal processing section, the output of the comparator stores the maximum signal level from the A/D converter to the memory (I), and renews and stores the number of pulses in the memory (II), and the digital value of the memory (II) at the reference position every one rotation of antenna is outputted as the angular signal to the direction located with the oscillator.
