Abstract

PURPOSE: A change over device which consists of the primary, secondary and intermediate bell cranks and can securely transmit power intermittently without an oversliding of those cranks, a gap or a time lag, with those input and output ends connected in the mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: When an input rod 1 is moved in the direction of an arrow m, the primary bell crank 2 turns about a center pivot b in the direction n and pulls an intermediate rod 3 to move an intermediate bell crank 4 in the direction of an arrow p. The intermediate bell crank 4 is turned about a pivot e in the direction q. As an idle pulley 8 is secured by an actuator 10, a rod 11, of a parallel link 5 is pushed in the direction r to turn the secondary bell crank 2 about a center pivot h in the direction s. An output rod 7 is forced in the direction t. On the other hand, when the actuator 10 is pulled backwards to turn the link 5 in the direction v until the intermediate rod 3 reaches the position of the arm of the crank 2, power is cut off to the output rod 7.
