CONSTITUTION:A Zn-coated steel material is coated with one or more of heterocyclic compounds of the formula I, (X is a group of amine, hydrazine, oxime, hydroxyl, thiol, carbonyl, alkyl, or allyl, and Y is 2 or 3 C or N atoms forming a fundamental ring and H, O, alkyl, etc., bonded to atoms of said ring), e.g., 3- ethylrhodanine, etc., or a treating agent containing the compounds by a conventional coating method. Usually, the treating agent of a concentration of 10mg/l or more is used and coated to a thickness of 0.1mg-2g/m<2>.
