Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable recording of high speed, of excellent quality and of high resolution of a long time by providing a fixed number of discharge orifices for a recording in parallel and also arranging thin orifices of the flow route for the recording liquid in the same number as that of discharge orifices in parallel with almost the same arranging density as that of discharge orifices. CONSTITUTION:A discharge orifice of a recording head wherein recording is performed by discharging a recording liquid in a flow route composed of thin orifices as small drips and making these drips fly and stick to a recording surface is provided in a stated number in parallel, while thin orifices in the same number as that of discharge orifices being provided in parallel with almost the same arranging density as that of discharge orifices. The discharge orifices for recording ink and an operating part located in the flow route of ink leading to the former are both arranged in a multi-array form with high density (e.g. 8 piece/mm or more). Fine grooves are formed by cutting grooves about mum or more wide and 10-250mu deep is a flat plate of glass, metal etc., with a pitch of 10mum or more optionally, by using a microcutter. There is another method wherein after a desired fune-groove pattern being stained on a photosensitive glass a exposure part is formed by etching by using an etching liquid.
