Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the magnetic flux density of a circular magnet by successively varying the inclination of magnetic orientation in such a manner that the magnetic orientation in the magnet exhibits a ferromagnetic characteristic to the flow of magnetizing magnetic flux.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of ferrite particles 1 and a rubber bonding these particles is made to pass through a gap between rolls 3, thereby to form a magnet sheet 4 in which the ferrite particles are orientated in the direction of the rolling of the sheet 14. A plurality of magnet sheets thus formed are superposed to form a laminate structure of a desired thickness, and a disc-shaped magnet material 6 is formed by punching from this laminated structure. Then, a magnetic body 7 having a plurality of radial projections 7', each having a triangular cross-section with a keen end, is pressed against the magnet material 6 until the projections 7' are completely embedded in the latter, so that a composite article 8 is formed. This composite articles is magnetized by means of a magnetizing yoke. This process makes it possible to produce a circular magnet having a high surface magnetic flux density at a low cost of production.
