Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the production accuracy, flammability, safety and handling strenght of blowing agent containing metallic powder, oxidizing agent and inorganic single fiber by incresing said fiber on one face of said agent while dercreasing on the other face.
CONSTITUTION: One example of production method of bolwing agent containing metal powder, oxidizing agent and inorganic single fiber as main component is such that inorganic single fiber such as rock wool, glass wool, etc. cut to the length shorter than 10mm is mixed with adhesion-increasing agent composed of 1 wt% of carboxymethyl-cellulose and 88 wt% of aqueous solution to obtain diffusion liquid then 39 wt% of said liquid, 44 wt% of zirconium and 44 wt% of balium chromate are mixed well and added with 1500 wt% of water to obtain a sol which is filtered and dried to produce heat-generatiing agent. In said filtered agent zirconium and balium chromate 1 having high specific gravity and a portion of single fiber 2 are sunk first while the remaining single fiber sinks later thereby the single fiber is placed unevenly. Consequently the production accuracy, flammability, safety and the handling strength can be improved.
