Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device, of small size and light weight, capable of increasing the deceleration ratio, by the method wherein an oscillating arm is provided which oscillates in coordination with the rotation of a cam which rotates in coordination with the input shaft, each pinion is rotated successively in steps, and thereby a large gear is rotated. CONSTITUTION:Cam plate 4 is fitted to the inner end of input shaft 2, and the inner end of output shaft 3 is fitted with large transmission gear 6. Large gear 6 is engaged with three pinions 71, 72, 73. Pinions 71-73 are placed with each having a phase difference of 120 deg. from the others, and are fitted to rotary shafts 81-83 supported in each casing 1. When the large gear moves in the direction of arrow A only, power is transmitted to pinions 71-73 via unidirectional clutch 11 and large gear 6, which is engaged with pinions 71-73, is rotated in the direction of arrow B, and thereby output shaft 3 is rotated. At this time, the rotational drive of each pinion 71-73 is repeated continuously in steps, so that a large deceleration ratio is obtained.
