Abstract

PURPOSE:The title composition capable of cleaning even a mold of complicated structure in a few dummy molding steps, and giving articles having improved appearance, gloss and releasability, comprising an amino resin and specific mineral powder. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising (A) 20-90pts.wt., preferably 25-75 pts.wt., of an amino resin, e.g. melamine resin, and (B) 80-10pts.wt., preferably 65-20pts.wt., of mineral powder, preferably aluminum or silicon oxide, having a Mohrs hardness of 6-10, preferably 6.5-9.3, and a particle size of #32-8,000, preferably #100-2,000, for removing stains from a mold surface in molding amino resin materials, e.g. melamine, urea or acetoguanamine resin. EFFECT:Improved molding cycles and a low cost.
