Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The surface of a substrate such as a phosphor bronze wire is covered with a tin alloy contg. bismuth 1.0W20wt% by hot dipping or other method. An electrical contact material made of this spring material maintains the corrosion resistance and contact resistance of tin, has improved tackiness, and keeps sliding contact stable. This contact material can be manufactured using the cheap materials and produces great industrial advantage.
