Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain a constant ink pressure for the ink jet head within adjusting a pump discharge pressure by a system wherein the ink pressure applied to the ink jet head is detected for adjusting automatically the fluid resistance. CONSTITUTION:The resistance of the strain wire 6a is varied in response to the ink pressure within a pipe 6, where the emitter voltage of the transistor Tr1 is varied in response to the ink pressure. Accordingly, the coil 13 is energized by means of the power transistor Tr2, wherein high ink pressure causes a large energized current of the coil, developing low coil current when the ink pressure is low, allowing to control the choke valves 13b1, 13b2 by means of the core 13 a for adjusting the flow- way resistance. This permits the ink pressure applied to the ink jet head 7 to maintain a constant.
