Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the light scattering performance of the title tape or sheet for scattering horizontal incident light from the side in a direction about perpendicular to the incident direction by uniformly applying adhesive fine particles to at least one side of a light transmissive substrate at a state where the particles are not bonded to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Acrylic adhesive fine particles 2 are dispersion-applied uniformly or about uniformly to one side or both sides of light transmissive substrate 1 such as flexible plastic film at a state where the particles are not firmly bonded to each other and unified, and releasable film 5 is stuck to the particles. When the particles are 5μ or less in diameter, the adhesiveness is deteriorated, and sufficient light scattering properties are not obtained. A diameter of 50μ or more lowers the light scattering performance. When the amt. of the particles applied is 3g/m2 or less, adhesion is not enough, and the particles applied in an amt. of 20g/m2 or more bond to each other remarkably, making the light scattering performance irregular. Accordingly, by uniformly applying 3W20g/m2 of adhesive fine particles with a middle diameter of 5W50μ stabilized light scattering effect and quality are obtained.
