Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize both the reduction of the amplitude fluctuation and the miniaturization of the radial pattern for the antenna incorporating the loop reflector by using the blocking bushings and the quadrangular pyramid type conductor as the reflectors. CONSTITUTION:Four units of circular polarized wave antennas 1a-1d are arranged on the same circumference and equidistantly, and blocking bushings 6a-6d featuring about 1/4 wavelength are provided to the feeding parts of the antenna elements each. At the same time, two units of quadrangular pyramid type conductors 7a and 7b featuring the height of 1/4 wavelength are provided, crossing vertically the bushings with the top points of the conductors touching the intersections of the blocking bushings each. As a result, both the bushings and the quadrangular conductor function as the reflectors. Thus the diameter of the circle connecting the feeding points features about half-wavelength to realize both the miniaturization and the reduction of the amplitude fluctuation for the radial pattern.
