Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the frequency-temperature characteristics, by limiting the cut-out angle of AlPO4. CONSTITUTION:The diapason type bending oscillation unit using AlPO4 can realize greater electro-mechanical coupling coefficient. Taking the rotation angles with the crystal axes X, Y, Z, as theta, phi, psi and taking the width and length as W, L, the resonant frequency (f) can be determined. By obtaining differentiation characteristics by temperature (t) for (f), the temperature coefficient alpha can be obtained as shown in equation-(2). With the theoretical analysis as to theta, phi and psi, as 0 deg.-20 deg. for theta, 80 deg.-100 deg. for phi and 0 deg.-10 deg. for psi, the primary temperature coefficient alpha at the bending mode of AlPO4 can be minimized.
