Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce stains at a developed color surface upon being used and obtain a good printing by a method wherein a protecting agent for a microcapsule is coated on a sheet to be coated or printed with the microcapsule and succeedingly a coating liquid containing the microcapsule is coated thereon.
CONSTITUTION: In a pressure sensitive reprinting paper utilizing a reaction between an electron providing organic color former and an electron receiving developer, in case a pressure sensitive reprinting paper is desired to be produced by coating or printing a microcapsule containing at least one of the electron providing organic color former, the electron receiving developer or an organic solvent, a microcapsule protecting agent is coated beforehand on a sheet to be coated or printed with the microcapsule, succeedingly, a coating liquid containing the microcapsule or the like is coated or printed thereon, thereby, the pressure sensitive reprinting paper is produced. Here, 3,3-vis(p-dimethyl aminophenyl)-6-dimethyl amino phthalide (generally called as crystal violet) or the like is used as the electron providing color former and Japaness acid clay, benzoic acid, metalic acid thereof or the like is used as the electron receiving developer.
