Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide title sheet which is stably moldable over wide temperature ranges and can produce deep-drawn containers without unevenness of wall thickness, consisting of polyethylene having a melt flow rate below specified value and isotactic polypropylene having a melt flow rate below specified value.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided deep-drawing olefin polymer sheet obtd. by molding a resin compsn. into the sheet by conventional method. Said resin compsn. consists of (A) from 95 to wt% of polyethylene having a melt flow rate below 2.0g/10min and (B) from 5 to 50wt% of isotactic polypropylene having a melt flow rate below 3.0g/10min. Examples of (A) are polymers of copolymers of propylene, n-butene-1, n-pentene-1, etc. Examples of (B) are propylene homopolymer which can be produced by a coordination catalyst, or block copolymer or random copolymer of propylene, ethylene and α-olefin having 4W20 carbon atoms, and polymers having crystallizability of below 60wt% of boiling-heptane extractability.
