Abstract

PURPOSE: To convey an entangled metal chip by a pneumatic conveying tube smoothly by a system wherein a roller is provided for an exhausting unit to deliver the cut chip to a pneumatic conveying tube from a damper and the exhaust unit is itself vibrating.
CONSTITUTION: After an exhaust gas valve 50 is opened by operating a blower 46 and a back pressure applied to a closing type damper 10 is released, the damper 10 is opened to introduce a metal chip into the exhaust unit. Then, the back pressure is applied to the damper 10 to maintain air tight, allowing a bridge preventing roller 20 to rotate the metal chip in a lift-up direction and to operate a vibrating source 32 to shake the exhaust unit itself 14. Consequently, any shape of metal chip may be conveyed to the separator 48 through a chute 18, a constant volume discharge roller 24, an exit 40 and a pneumatic conveying tube 44.
