Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid useless power consumption, by providing the means opening the feedback resistor of C-MOS type AC amplifier and the means fixing the input terminal at high or low level potential. CONSTITUTION:The p channel MOSFET Q3 and the n channel MOSFET Q4 are connected parallelly from the output terminal B of C-MOS type FETs Q1, Q2 to the input terminal A to form the feedback resistor and AC amplifier. To the gate of FETs Q3, Q4, mutually opposite phase signal is given from the control terminal C and the inverter I. The terminal C is connected to the gate of p channel MOSFET Q5 in which the drain is connected to the terminal A and the source is at high potential. When high level signal is given to the terminal C, Q5 is OFF and Q3, Q4 are conductive and operated as a normal AC amplifier, and when a low level signal is given, Q3, Q4 are both OFF and Q5 is operated to fix the terminal A at a high level. Accordingly, Q1 is interrupted, no power supply current flows, and when it is not used as an amplifier, useless power consumption can be avoided without interrupting the power supply.
