Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a recording head for ink jet recording method of drop-on- demand type which rejects any influence from vibration, resonance, dust, bubble etc. by forming the liquid-jetting part and the orifice with round cross section and specifically-inclined vertical section.
CONSTITUTION: Being controlled and pressurized by pressure-generating part 8, ink is jetted through liquid-jetting part 7 and orifice 6. In this device, the section (cross section) of liquid-jetting part 7 made in parallel to the face of orifice 6 is designed to form a substantial circle. In addition, in the vertical section of liquid- jetting part 7, the opening angle α in the side-end part of the orifice is made to be 0W45°, pref. 3W20°, and the maximum opening angle β at 20W60°, pref. 20W40°, while the shape before and behind the place of the maximum opening angle being made to be gently sloping consecutively. In this way, the ink discharge in the device of drop-on-demand type which is vulnerable to the influence of vibration and others is stabilized.
