Abstract
PURPOSE: To ease the detaching of connected wire part from between side walls by providing taper-form side wall spacings to a welding anvil to form an electric wire containing part, inserting the core wires of electric wires into above-mentioned containing part, then press-fitting welding chip and welding these simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of taper-form side walls 21, 22 are provided by leaving a spacing on the top surface of a welding anvil 20 to form an electric wire containing part. The covering at the intermediate part of an electric wire 24 is stripped to exposure its core wire 25 and the core wire is inserted in said containing part, thence the core wire 27 of the other electric wire 26 to be connected is placed on the core 25, a chip 23 pressed thereto and current is flowed to the welding chip 23 from the anvil 20, whereby the core wires are welded to themselves. This method prevents the breakage of the weld zone owing to the failure of the weld zone in pulling from the containing part as in conventional methods, eases the detachiig of the weld zone and enables a plurality of electric wires to be extremely readily branched and connected.
