Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a method of evaporating liquid gas, according to which a heat exchanger is arranged in the storage tank itself and liquid gas stored in the tank is heated and evaporated directly by the heat exchanger, so that thermal efficiency can be improved and installation costs can be lowered. CONSTITUTION:After introducing liquefied petroleum gas into storage tank 1 and sealing the inlet port 2, heat medium is produced by heat-source generating means 9 and supplied to heat exchanger 6 via conduit 7 by means of heat-medium feeding means 8. By the heat exchanger 6, liquefied petroleum gas is evaporated and conveyed via feed pipe 4 to mixer, surge tank or other not shown in the drawing. Heat medium, on the other hand, is cooled and discharged to the outside from outlet pipe 10 or returned to the heat-source generating means 9. Thus, in the arrangement as described in the above, carburetor for evaporating liquid gas, transport pump, complicated piping and other means can be eliminated, so that installation costs can be lowered.
