The pressure which the rupture disc A receives becomes nearly O. At this time, a rupture disc B receives the pressure P1-P0≈P2-P0, or the pressure in the system P1≈P2. When this pressure P1 varies by ΔP1, and ΔP1 is smaller than the pressure P1, the rupture disc A receives the pressure change of only ±ΔP1. The rupture disc B receives pressure change smaller than in case of A, due to the orifice effect of the small hole E. Thus, the magnitude of repeating load can be ignored, and fatigue breakdown of rupture disc can be prevented.
