PURPOSE:To reduce the amplitude fluctuation at the transmission line as well as to secure the transmission in the narrow band by giving the AM modulation to the Y signal via the X signal and in the form of the carrier wave for transmission and reproducing the X signal through FM demodulation after AM demodulation at the receiver side. CONSTITUTION:Y signal fy generated at telautogram signal generator 11 is turned to the carrier wave and then AM-modulated 17 via X signal fX to be transmitted to transmission line 13. At the receiver side, amplitude limitation 18 is given to fy to remove the AM component with FM demodulation 19 given next. Thus, the voltage or current Y corresponding to the position of the Y coordinates is drawn out. While at AM demodulator 21, the received input signal is AM-demodulated, and the output undergoes FM modulation at fx demodulating FM demodulator 15 to botain the voltage or current X corresponding to the position of the X coordinates.
