Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein water-containing matters to be treated are accommodated in a dehydration vessel through a drum, and dehydrated therein, and a door provided at the bottom part of the dehydration vessel in a freely opened and closed manner is opened by an exhaust mechanism to exhaust the same, whereby the matters to be treated can be dehydrated and easily exhausted, and the device is installed at a sink or the like.
CONSTITUTION: When a cap 5 is opened in a state where a door 7 is closed, and water-containing garbages are charged into a drum 3, the garbages are accommodated in a dehydration vessel 1. In this state, when the cap 5 is closed and left as it is, the water contents in the gabages are naturally dehydrated, and flow to a water exhaust pipe 6 through a filter 6. After sufficient dehydration has been carried out, a drive motor 85 is energized to rotate a pulley 83, and a door 7 is opened around the rotary shaft 82 through the rotary shaft 82 and a supporting member 81. When the door 7 is opened, the dehydrated garbages drop and are accommodated in a vessel 9. Therefore, the vessel 9 is removed, and the garbages are exhausted and treated. This dehydration device is installed in a sink or the like if the drum 3 of appropriate height dimension is selected in correspondence to the space in the sink.
