Abstract

PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the labor and time in comparison with the direct mixing of a dye and a pigment by mixing any spectrum with a while light by means of a simple optical system resorting an acoustic optical filter thereby to simplify the complex color composition. CONSTITUTION:The light emanating from a white light source 1 has its optical intensity increased through a slit 2 and an intermediate optical system 3 so that it may be introduced as a parallel beam 4 into an acoustic optical filter 5. This filter 5 diffracts the light between the corresponding wavelengthes as a diffracted light 8 through the frequency sweeping so that the non-diffracted light 9 having emanating in different directions is separated by a slit 10. In response to the sound wave frequency signals corresponding to the spectral distribution of a known sample, a control circuit 7 uses a frequency generating circuit 6 to ogtain the sound wave frequency corresponding to each wavelength. By the high speed sweeping, the color sample, which is mixed on a portion 11 to be colored by thr redisual image phenomena of eyes, can be visibly confirmed.
