Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture the corrugate type heat exchanger provided with good workability, the adhesion, the antirust force and the long life, by previously precoating the thermomelting type adhesive over the fin and/or the pipe, and by forcefully coiling the fin around the pipe so as to built up the heat exchanger which is then heated in the furnace on purpose to melt, adhere and solidify the precoat of the adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: The metallic pipe of large thermal conductivity like as copper, aluminum, etc., is passed through the molten liquid of polyamide group thermomelting type adhesive, so as to prepare the precoated pipe 7. Like this metalic pipe, the polyamide group thermomelting type adhesive is applied so as to coat 4 the aluminum sheet, which is then dried 5; hereby, the precoated sheet is prepared by forming the thermomelting layer 12 on the surface of the aluminum thin sheet 8' as the raw material. Next, this precoated aluminum sheet is formed into the U-type fin 2 at the process 11 through the processes 9 and 10. Then, the fin 2 is continuously, forcefully coiled spirally around the pipe 7; after that, a monotube heat exchanger 1' is formed and it is worked into the style of the heat exchanger 1, which is then heated in the drying furnce of 200±50°C so as to melt the coat and adhere for sealing.
