Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate gap between a spacer and a stator coil and to restrict the extension and contraction of the coil by fixedly interposing a cylindrical spacer of large elastic surface frictional resistance between the ends of windings adjacent to the stator coil.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic cylindrical space 3P of parallelogram in section is interposed between the ends 2 of stator windings and mounted by a binding wire 4 to clamp the ends 2 of the windings. If only one winding end 2a is thus extended due to the unbalance or the like of cooling, the spacer not initially making contact with the end of the winding makes at the outer surface thereof contact with the end of the winding to become resistant surface so as to restrict the extension and contraction of the ends of the windings. Since the spacer 3P has elasticity, no gap occurs between the spacer and the end of the winding due to the vibration of an electric machine.
