Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title unit which can be operated by oneself without any trouble by placing a Na solidification space between an automatic reflux type vapor trap section and a Na caking type vapor trap section.
CONSTITUTION: Na solidification space 15 is placed between automatic reflux type vapor trap section 13 and Na caking type vapor trap section 14 to form vapor trap 12. Gas flowing from container 2 into trap 12 is first cooled in section 13, whereby most of Na vapor in the gas is solidified, and the solidified Na drops owing to dead load and returns to container 2. The residual Na vapor enters space 15, where it is cooled to the silidification temp. The solidified Na adheres to wire netting, etc. in trap 14, and it is captured almost completely. With this constitution, a differential press. increase due to solidification of Na vapor can be prevented in sections 13, 14.
